I am a: Never-owned-a-console-lets-buy-one-for-dust-what-where-is-the-mouse-ex-EVE-player. This is my first-weekend feedback.
It would have helped me to enter the game: ... if I had been able to switch and test different weapons sooner. ... because I couldn't hit anything. ... because the sensitivity was not at 75. ... and I could not replace weapons within the prebuild suites, to compare them for my individual preference.
... if I had been able to build my own dropsuite much earlier (in my learning experience). ... without understanding the market interface, dust's take on the blueprint approach, both in one take, before I can do that. ... instead of simply owning a militia blueprint of my "class" dropsuite to start creating a DS with a different militia weapon. ... in order to immediately build a different version of my "class dropsuite". ... and try out at least 4 weapons before learning other aspects.
... a simple shooting range map for weapon comparison would have helped me with my first kill.
... if I would not have to reselect my fav dropsuite with every single spawn. ... because that dropsuite list always defaults to the top dropsuite. ... no matter my favourite default dropsuite setting.
... if I would be able to immediately move on to the next fight. ... instead of loading the quarters environment first, every time, and re-enlisting for the next fight.
... if I would be reminded of the attacking/versus defending team goal on the spawn selection screen.
... if we would receive some SP for defending a mission critical object (guns). ... for example with every shot hitting the MCC. ... for every player currently near the critical object.
Also, personaly, I cannot read the WP distance indicators, if they are printed in transparent red letters with a red glow. A black border or drop shadow woule help, maybe.
I still have not figured out, how to sprint. I am making it a point, to not google that information.
I miss that Eve music. That sound-loop inside the quarters is annoying to me. And I hope there will be Eve Ship maps to fight on. (boarding party) |
